Snippets from the cottage 2009 and a first day of school......

mr. no hands driving in the boat.. his first drawing from the first day back into homeschool......part of his journal and a lot going on in the picture.  I don't correct the spelling as it is not the place to, but to be creative and imaginative....love the details of what his favorite things were at the cottage..the raft, Lady May fishing and catching the biggest fish among all of us..2 pounds! Buba paddling on the sail board and I think there is a drawing of himself tubing! It is our third day in and I am operating on a different schedule...8 courses rotating over a 2 day period.....for everyone...and there is wee MJ sitting in on it all and doing everything....but remembering it is only the 3rd day....but already so glad to see how the simple changes make so much difference.  Now everyone is reading and getting better at it, it is getting more fun in a different way.....reading out load to one another, laughing at one another's mistakes, competing a bit as to who can get their work done faster so they can get the biggest cookie (simple living) little Blu just does whatever puzzle or building or coloring she can find and loves it all.of course a baby is always close at hand and she is naked through most of our classes, which I guess is a good thing as it helps her go pee a lot quicker without having to take anything off!  I did find her peeing on my sandals yesterday..my fault though as I didn't replace the potty cup that sits out on our porch and she had to go, so did...on the deck and my sandals just happened to be right there......at least she was outside and here she is....her own little out house.P.O.D.=potty on deck.....doesn't really have to do with snippets of cottage or first day of school, but makes me laugh:) as a side note...Blu did have a visit to the Parry Sound Hospital on our last night away.  She fell and split her lip open and came out sporting 5 lovely stitches......more pics to come as those close ups are nice..ya right.and here she is lying beside her school work. Everyone else was getting photos of their work done so why not her?
